Schema: from Greek, skhēma (σχῆμα) ‘form, shape, nature of things’
Schema Capital is a venture capital fund manager dedicated to Distributed Ledger Technology for the financial services industry
Our raison d’être stems from the observation that Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT) are enabling the evolution of the world’s financial infrastructure. Notably, for the first time, DLT provide a standardized method to interconnect financial institutions and the trillions of financial assets they have under management.
We aim to empower entrepreneurs building the foundation of the next generation of technologies for the financial services industry with DLT, from the pre-product stage up to A rounds. We are particularly attentive to projects dedicated to enterprise DLT, digital securities and decentralized finance.
In the spirit of interconnectedness, as we move along we intend to build a dynamic platform for the exchange of ideas and business opportunities between the teams we have backed, our network (issued from our previous lives working for financial institutions) and our own investors.
